Whitney is a freelance dancer for stage, site-specific locations, and film. Whitney holds a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School, and an MFA from UC Irvine. Whitney is drawn to impactful storytelling aspects of performance, creation, and movement direction.

 

Whitney has danced with BODYTRAFFIC, Brian Brooks Moving Company, MOMIX, Danaka Dance, and extensive collaborative projects with Jenna Pollack. She has performed works by Alexandra Damiani, Baye & Asa, Bobbi Jene Smith, Camille A. Brown, Cindy Salgado, Didy Veldman, Ebony Williams, Eliot Feld, Jirí Kylián, José Limón, Kate Weare, Kyle Abraham, Merce Cunningham, Ohad Nahrin, and Peter Chu among others. Whitney has additionally trained with Alonzo King Lines Ballet, Cedarlake Contemporary Ballet, Springboard Danse Montreal, SF Conservatory of Dance, AXIS Connect, The Neighborhood Playhouse, and Movement Invention Project.
